Software introduction

    THE WOODCUTTER cut down a Mountain Oak and split it in pieces, making wedges of its own branches for dividing the trunk. The Oak said with a sigh, "I do not care about the blows of the axe aimed at my roots, but I do grieve at being torn in pieces by these wedges made from my own branches."

You may remember mention of Turtle Rock Studios' first VR game, Face Your Fears, earlier this month. Well, you can get your hands on it now if you've got a Gear VR and a compatible phone.

Faced with multiple experiences you've got two major categories to choose from. One – you're a poor sod stuck in a building while a robotic/alien race attempts to take over. Of course, things wouldn't be scary enough to be stuck in a top story so you're pulled out of the building and have to face a fear of heights and/or falling.

The second side is more paranormal as you lie in bed, choosing between three story books, before having the worst night's sleep you've ever had. Building blocks fly around the room, clown dolls are invading your personal space, and there's a demonic child creeping about the room that you just wish would go and do one.

So if you've got a Gear VR and a compatible phone, grab Face Your Fears from the Oculus Store now. It's totally free so the only thing standing in your way is you…and me...and my fear of everything.

Hold me.

With E3 little more than a month away, Nintendo's been secretly getting ready for the tradeshow. We all know that their booth won't be as big as it has been in the past, but with the Switch still fresh out and on our minds, this time around it's all about Super Mario Odyssey and other games launching later this year.

From the 13th to the 15th of June, E3 will open its doors. What's exciting for Nintendo, however, is that this'll be the first event that Super Mario Odyssey will be playable at.

There'll also be the usual video showcase, highlighting more details for Switch games launching this year, and another Nintendo Treehouse: Live. Treehouse: Live will include a livestreamed showcase of Switch and 3DS games.

For those actually attending the show, there'll be tournaments for ARMS ( June 14th) and Splatoon 2 (June 13th) on the show floor, also livestreamed.

Nintendo will be releasing more details as the event comes a'knocking, but for now these are a few tidbits to think about.
A WEASEL, inactive from age and infirmities, was not able to catch mice as he once did. He therefore rolled himself in flour and lay down in a dark corner. A Mouse, supposing him to be food, leaped upon him, and was instantly caught and squeezed to death. Another perished in a similar manner, and then a third, and still others after them. A very old Mouse, who had escaped many a trap and snare, observed from a safe distance the trick of his crafty foe and said, "Ah! you that lie there, may you prosper just in the same proportion as you are what you pretend to be!"&#;

    Ay me, I fell, and yet do question make&#;

    Kick The Buddy Remastered(Mod)
Jousting has always been quite a medieval thing, so why not add cars to the mix? Enter: Carmageddon: Crashers.

You'd think Carmageddon: Crashers is your typical drag racing game but there's a bit of a twist. Instead of speeding alongside your opponent, you're driving directly at them, and one of you is going to get destroyed. Better make sure it isn't you.

The aim of the game is to get to the top of the Crashers league and take out all of the vehicles that stand in your way. As you'd expect, you can buy new cars and upgrade them, and have your very own Carmageddon armada.

Though we don't know when the exact launch date will be, you can find the game soft launched and free to play on iOS in the Philippines, or on Android in select areas.
"Why, you can't be as old as I am!" exclaimed Anne. "You must have been a child when you were married."

With the start of a new year comes a new season in thatgamecompany's popular adventure game Sky: Children of the Light. It's called the Season of Dreams and will see the community coming together to help uplift a local young performer.

It promises to be an emotional season that follows a young skater as they pursue their dream of performing for the kingdom's coliseum. During the season, two areas of the Valley of Triumph will be expanded too.

The story will start in one of the Valley's villages before taking players through multiple training courses that stand between the skater and their final performance. Here players will be able to explore the Village of Dreams and Hermit Valley where they'll also be able to skate with their friends.
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure review - "Becoming a Hero Through Small Actions"
Players will also meet with the Season Guide and Four Retired Mentors who will give them a variety of tests to complete that will see players trying to land various performance skills. In addition to these tasks, there will also be four new expressions to unlock in the latest season – Showdance, Peek, Spin Trick and Bear Hug.
Nor youth all quit, but spite of heaven's fell rage&#;

    Clumsy Ninja is free to play, but it contains items that can be purchased for real money.&#;

Bandai Namco has soft-launched highly praised console game Pac-Man Championship Edition DX for iOS in New Zealand.

However, the game isn't the exact same one you might have played on Xbox 360 or PS3. You see, it's a free to play game rather than premium.

So, while this sequel to the Gold Award-winning Pac-Man Championship Edition is fundamentally the same as the console game, there are a few notable differences.

As you might fear, yes, there are wait-timers on lives and bombs in this iOS version. Yep, if you run out of either you're going to have to wait for more or, if you'd rather, pay for them.

That's the biggest difference, really. Others are some changes to level design, and the expected swipe controls.

Otherwise, it's mostly the same game. That means you'll be eating pellets and fruit around the neon colored mazes to score points. The speed increases the higher your score is.

Of course, DX's addition of sleeping ghosts that chase you once you've passed them, and conga lines of rainbow ghosts for huge points remains, too.

We'll let you know when Namco Bandai launches Pac-Man Championship Edition DX on the global App Store.
NEW YEAR'S EVE AT THE LIGHT
